Helping runners overcome injuries and become stronger, faster, and more resilient
About Me
I started running as a kid, copying my badass marathoner mom. As I got a little older, running became an outlet, a stress relief – something I would do occasionally to clear my head or just because I loved it. For a long time, running was something I did “on the side” as I played sports through high school and college. After I graduated college, I stepped away from playing sports competitively. During this weird transitional phase I really missed having something to train for and feeling like an athlete. So, I turned to distance running as a new challenge and decided to train for my first half marathon.
It wasn’t long before I fell in love with the process of training and racing. But my new found love for the sport quickly turned into frustration as I developed a knee injury. I kept pushing anyways, until my injury forced me to stop and I fell into the exhausting cycle of rest, return to running, reinjury, repeat. It got to the point where every time I limped across another finish line or had to cut a run short, I thought to myself “never again”.
I eventually realized there had to be a better way and instead of continuing to push through pain and hope for a different outcome, I decided to figure out how to kick this injury for good. This started my deep dive into learning everything I could about running, training, and managing running related injuries. With the help of consistent strength training and a much smarter, healthier approach to training, I have now been running and racing injury-free for years.

Even though I cringe looking back at my early training days and learning so many things the hard way, my own struggles sparked my passion to help other runners overcome similar issues and continue to enjoy running.
After talking to SO many runners that had a negative experience in healthcare, were stuck in a cycle of reinjury or even told to “just stop running” I started Resilient Running with the goal of changing how running injuries are managed. I believe in an approach that emphasizes individualized care, and a coach-athlete relationship that is built on collaboration, support, and trust. I love helping athletes reach and exceed their goals through smart, science backed training, while maintaining a healthy balance between training and life. I value the importance of strength training for runners, and want to help remove the intimidation, overwhelm and hesitation when it comes to picking up weights.

I’m a Florida girl born and raised, and went to University of Miami for both undergrad and PT school (go canes!). I recently relocated to Atlanta, GA. When I’m not helping my athletes or focusing on my own training, I’m usually hanging with my husband and our pup, hiking, reading or exploring our new city. I'm a big fan of traveling, live music, game nights and strong coffee.
