Helping runners overcome injuries and become stronger, faster, and more resilient
"After increasing my training volume for about a year, I eventually developed a painful case of Achilles tendinitis. I thought I was done running because this was actually the second time this had happened to me. I delayed seeking treatment for this for so long because I thought the issue would just go away, but eventually the pain was debilitating and I had to stop running which was very discouraging. I was introduced to Alyssa and in a span of 6 months she prepared me and encouraged me to pursue and even exceed my running goals. I have now run 7 races under her coaching, including 4 half marathons. My foot pain is a distant memory and I am on a path to being faster and stronger than ever. Alyssa is uniquely qualified to help athletes who are either training through chronic pain, have become discouraged about running because of injury or are just looking to become faster, stronger or more resilient."

"Alyssa will be the only run coach I ever work with. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and professional, but she is also kind, endearing, and compassionate. I had severe tendonitis and plantar fasciitis in my left foot and had been unable to run for nearly a year. Alyssa helped me overcome these injuries through thoughtful, guided exercises, strength workouts and runs. Within just 6 months of working with her, I was able to run my first official half marathon. She was quick to respond to messages and always had words of encouragement when I needed them. I have recommended Alyssa to several running friends who suffer from injury, but the truth is that Alyssa would be a fantastic run coach for anyone, injured or not. She has a doctorate in Physical Therapy and is a runner herself. Her knowledge, expertise, and first-hand experience with running and running injuries are invaluable. If you are looking for a run coach, your search needs to end with Alyssa. She is brilliant."
